Dr Eric Yamen graduated from The University of Western Australia with honours in 1998. He trained in clinical cardiology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, before completing fellowships in interventional cardiology at Concord Hospital in Sydney in 2006-2007 and Stanford University Medical Centre in 2008-2009.

He has clinical appointments at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital and St John of God Subiaco Hospital. Dr Yamen’s interests include management of coronary artery disease with angioplasty and minimally invasive therapies for valvular heart disease, atrial septal defects, patent foraman ovale and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He is a registered practitioner for transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

General cardiology, with a specific interest in coronary disease and vascular risk

Transcatheter management of aortic (TAVI) and mitral valve disease

Coronary angioplasty
